”A Co-operative Take on Free Trade: International Ambitions and Regional Initiatives in International Co-operative Trade”, in A Global History of Consumer Co-operation since 1850. Workings of Co-operation: A Comparative Study of Consumer Co-operative Organisation in Britain and Sweden, 1860 to 1970. Since 2012 I have been engaged in academic course on organisation and management in co-operative organizations for employees and elected member of Riksbyggen, Folksam and Kooperativa Förbundet, via the Department of Economic History at Uppsala University. Besides teaching regular courses in history I have also taught courses in human rights and environmentalism.

The project group of four is guided by Filip Wijkström as project leader.Īs researcher, I have been affiliated to academic institutions in Sweden and Britain: The Institute of Contemporary History at Södertörn University in Stockholm, Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne and as Leverhulme Visiting Scholar at Teesside University, Middlesbrough.Īs a lecturer, I work in higher eduction, compulsory school, upper secondary school and popular education contexts. Katarina Wadstein MacLeod has a background as an art critic for the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet and contributes regularly with essay for newspaper, journals and catalogues. In her latest book she discusses artistic interpretation of the home in Swedish art at two historical moments: the turn of the 20th century and the 1960s and 70s. In her research she has dealt with representations of femininity and domesticity bodies and gender cultural heritage and value narration of centre and periphery. Empirically her research is orientated around 20th century Swedish and Nordic art and visual culture. Her research in art history intersects with feminist theory and critical cultural studies. In 2006 she graduated from Lund University with the PhD thesis Lena Cronqvist: Reflections of Girls (Sekel förlag), a thematic study on images of girl figures.
